Commentary, criticism and comedy about movies, TV and all corners of geeky genres and culture. A sci-fi convention in your pocket.

RevoultionSF went to Dragon*Con this year!  And we were big!  Or so Gary and Joe tell us we were.  We even podcasted.  Thanks to the technical wizardry of Swoopy, we are able to bring you the live Roundtable that occured as part of the podcasting track at Dragon*Con 2011.  So listen as Gary Mitchel and special guests Michael Falkner and the forementioned Swoopy talk about what amazing things happened at Dragon*Con this year.  They also talk to real live audience members!  As an added bonus, our beloved producer, and Podcast Queen, Deanna Toxopeus is pathced in via a cellphone and Skype.  There are even times you can clearly make out what she says!  For the rest of the time, just pretend you understood her and that what she had to say was both funny and insightful.

Ten years ago, a small little website rose from the ashes of the collaps of Hecklers.com.  RevolutionSF.com was that website.  In honour of that day, our podcast queen, Deanna Toxopeus sits down with RevolutionSF founders Shane Ivey and Joe Crowe to discuss how the highs and lows of starting a website post Internet crash.  There are stories, laughter and Joe recaping the Manimal spin-off, Trainamal.

It's movie time kids!!!!  But unfortunately, it is September.  The kids are back in school.  It's too early for the Oscar Race.  The college kids are downloading their entertainment.  The only people going to the theatre are people on dates.  So the goodies that Hollywood is letting out right now are the things that they thought couldn't cut it in the summer.  With that in mind, Deanna Toxopeus, Gary Mitchel, and Shaun Rosado from Shauncastic go through the offerings and let you know what you should waste your leftover con money on.

This is the second part of our look at what the cable networks are offering in terms of sci-fi series this year.  It's Deanna Toxopeus, Gary Mitchel, Scott Duschene and Shaun Rosado from Shauncastic again discussion the shows and, for some reason, a live sex line that RevolutionSF.com is looking to use as a fundraiser.  Given that this is the second part of the podcast, there is no Week in Nerdliness and Nerd News.

(Spoilers!  There is so much, that we've had to split this into two offerings and even then this is a supersized edition!)
