"Power Pastry" was written by Derek J. Goodman. He is the author of multiple stories which have appeared in publications such as New Writings in the Fantastic, M-Brane SF, the Dunesteef Audio Fiction Magazine, and the upcoming year's-best anthology Best New Tales of the Apocalypse. He is currently finishing an Apocalypse Shift novel featuring the same setting and characters from this story. He lives in Wisconsin.
